Professional Bio
Emily (Gillis) Ondras, CSM, PMP is the Global Procurement Manager at the Kurt J. Lesker Company with over a decade of experience in manufacturing, project management, and supply chain. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Francis University. Emily is credited as being a driven individual who can gain the trust of others quickly and ultimately use that teamwork to delight her end customer. Emily has taken on many capital projects over her career including an automated material storage system, manufacturing expansion set-up, and deployment of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Emily first began her career working in Criminal Justice engaging in reform programs at the Federal, State, and Local levels in the city of Pittsburgh. She took a wild change and transitioned into the world of manufacturing and fell in love.
Over her 13-year career, Emily has worked her way through a variety of high-profile roles including project managing large construction projects for Chicago, New York City, and California with revenue of $1-$10M. She has also held a key role in leading the implementation and production of a new production site for manufacturing. Additionally, Emily has established and implemented new inventory processes, and warehouse management for two new facilities, and acted as a consultant for a new ERP system.
Emily achieved her PMP certificate in 2020 while working to grow her personal and professional expertise and her Scrum Master Certification (CSM) in August 2022. She looks towards also obtaining her Certification in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM).
She has been an active member of Women in Manufacturing since January 2022 and looks to expand her participation to a local chapter.
