VIRGINIA HARN, CPA, MBT Virginia Harn is a Principal with CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) and she leads the CLA/WiM initiative. Virginia has 34 years of experience specializing in tax, tax compliance, and tax planning for privately owned manufacturing businesses and their owners. She works closely with small to mid-sized business owners serving as their business and personal tax advisor. Virginia collaborates with the various CLA internal resources to meet the business needs of the client as well as a team player with the attorney, banker, investment advisor and other outside professionals in forwarding the client's goals. Virginia served ten years as an adjunct professor for the University of Minnesota Master of Business Taxation (MBT) graduate program. She currently serves on the national Board of Director’s for the Women in Manufacturing trade association and serves as Chair of the Board for the WiM Minnesota Chapter. |
JENNIFER E. ROHEN, JD Jennifer Rohen is a Principal with CliftonLarsonAllen who leads the Business Incentives Consulting Practice for CLA. She has over 20 years of experience assisting clients who are making human and tangible capital investments to reduce their cost of capital and increase return on investment by identifying Federal, State, and Local strategies that include Work Opportunity Tax Credits, payroll tax credits, property and sales tax incentives, employment tax rebates, and various grants. Jen’s experience in specializing in prospective state tax benefits, with a focus on credits and incentives helps clients choose among different locations and realize the total impact of a location decision with regard to the tax and related financial implications. This involves working with state agencies and local municipalities in connection with negotiating incentive packages. The benefit packages typically include financing assistance and grants, ITC, WOTC, TIFs, and other in-kind benefits. Jen has worked with over 1000 clients in her career as a specialist. |

LESLIE BOYD, CPA Leslie is a principal in CLA’s Managing Principal of Industry Tax and part of the manufacturing industry for the Indianapolis office. Leslie has more than thirteen years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax services for multi-state and multinational C corporations, S corporations, and partnerships. She also has significant experience with tax provision preparation (ASC 740) and documentation of uncertain tax issues and positions (FIN 48). Leslie also has experience working with companies with tax structuring of M&A transactions. Leslie has been a speaker on several tax technical topics, including teaching the firm's annual Tax Advisor Update, tax merger and acquisition topics, and tax credit and incentive areas. |
