Join us for the first Plant Tour in our Open Doors for WiM series at Great Lakes Automation Services Inc.  Founded in 1973 by Chuck Watters and Don Stevens, AMi operated until 1996 when DT Industries acquired AMi. Great Lakes Automation Services Inc. was founded in 2002 by Mark Fatica, Ken Fisher, and Bryan Brooks and acquired AMi in 2004. In 2007, GLASi diversified and opened a Packaging and Kitting division geared towards service with military and the government.

Great Lakes Automation Services, Inc. is a service disabled, veteran owned, small business. We are a systems integrator that designs and builds automated assembly and test equipment. Our automated solutions include robot integration for assembly and material handling, rotary dial, both custom and AMi brand, linear systems and lean cells.

Our mission is to utilize our employee’s years of experience and diverse backgrounds to partner and assist our customers by developing the best solutions for assembly and inspection equipment, machining, and kitting and packaging, providing prompt, high-quality service and solutions that exceed our customer expectations.
