Wife. Mother. Mentor. Speaker. Advocate for Women in STEM. Colishia Dunbar, a multifaceted individual, from Kingstree, SC. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina (USC) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Carolina Aiken.

Currently serving as the Technical Marketing Manager at Hubbell Power Systems in Aiken, SC, Colishia Dunbar exhibits notable leadership qualities. Her responsibilities encompass directing a team of application engineers within the insulators business unit, overseeing product marketing, applications, product training, and spearheading new product development (NPD) initiatives. With over 15 years of professional expertise across diverse industries, she is adept at delivering impactful solutions.

In recent years, Colishia has dedicated herself to mentoring students from USC and addressing CEC’s First-Generation cohorts. Her guiding principle centers on perceiving every obstacle as an opportunity, culminating in the forthcoming launch of COCO’s Trust by Q3 of 2024. The mission of COCO’s Trust is to empower students, young adults, and women of color (WOC) to overcome challenges and pursue new opportunities.

As an incoming member of the Junior League of Columbia (JLC), Colishia will remain committed to making a difference in the community through volunteerism, collaborative efforts, and educational initiatives.
