Kara Mayner is the Membership and Engagement Manager of the Women in Manufacturing® Association (WiM).
Kara has been a part of the WiM team for the last 4 1/2 years working to increase membership and engagement throughout the association as well as handle all the accounting functions. WiM has grown significantly since being hired. WiM currently has over 31,000 individual members globally and more than 500 corporate member companies.
Before coming to WiM, Kara ran a children’s resale, and natural parenting store for 10 years. In 2019 it was sold and is still operating today. Kara earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and HR at Devry University. She is a wife and mom to 3 kids. Kara is a huge Ohio State football fan, loves basketball and biking.
