Professional Bio
As the director of marketing and communications for the Women in Manufacturing Association (WiM), Susan is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote events, programs and services offered by WiM and the Women in Manufacturing Educational Foundation (WiMEF). This includes the creation, management and production of content and other marketing activities across all marketing channels to help achieve WiM and WiMEF goals.
Prior to joining WiM, Susan served as a direct marketing manager for Huntington Bank’s commercial line of business. In this role, she partnered with segment, content, creative and analytics teams to ideate and execute marketing content programs to help them achieve business objectives.
As a marketing and communications professional with more than 25 years of experience, Susan has managed integrated marketing strategies, campaigns and events for companies that include Precision Metalforming Association, KeyBank, PNC Wealth Management and Cleveland Magazine.
Throughout her career, Susan has served as a volunteer for local non-profit organizations including the Brite Winter Music Festival, Arthritis Foundation, Canalway Ohio, Cleveland Film Society and Harvest for Hunger. She also participated in the Cleveland Leadership Center’s Civic Leadership Institute.
In her free time, Susan enjoys cooking with her husband and cheering for her three kids at their various sporting events. She also coaches her daughters’ basketball team. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from John Carroll University.
