Professional Bio
Virginia Ashlock Harn joined CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in September 1994 and serves as a Principal in the Manufacturing and Distribution Industry Group. She has 35 years of experience serving privately owned manufacturing businesses and shareholders as a business and tax advisor.
Harn leads the CLA National Market Segment for Women in Manufacturing and is responsible to develop and promote opportunities for CLA manufacturing clients, communities and employees. Harn previously represented CLA on the advisory board for the International Institute of Women Entrepreneurs initiative developed at St. Catherine’s University to support and promote growth in second-stage women owned business.
Harn simultaneously served ten years as an Adjunct Professor in the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and in 2013 was selected as an inaugural inductee to the Carlson School’s Master of Business Taxation Hall of Fame. Harn is a member of The Minnesota Women's Economic Roundtable, a forum for women leaders to gather insights and take action on broad economic issues impacting Minnesota.
Harn, the former Vice-Chair, is currently Chair on the Board of Directors for Women in Manufacturing, the only national trade association dedicated to providing year-round support to women who have chosen a career in the manufacturing industry. She is the immediate past-chair of the Minnesota Chapter for Women in Manufacturing.
Harn holds a master’s degree in business taxation from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. She earned her B.S. degree from Texas Woman’s University.
