WiM Georgia / WiM South Carolina Joint Event

We're hosting a two-day tour and networking event!

Join WiM Georgia and WiM South Carolina on Wednesday, Nov. 13 - Thursday, Nov.14!

Day 1:

Attendees will begin the first day at Club Car, an industry-leading manufacturer of golf cars, commercial utility vehicles and personal-use transportation, where we'll tour their Appling, GA facility and enjoy a lunch and presentation. Next, we'll enjoy a tour and tasting at the Starbucks Augusta Soluble Coffee Plant, the first company-owned manufacturing facility in the world to produce soluble products (such as Starbucks VIA® Instant, as well as the coffee base for Frappuccino® and more).

Afterwards, attendees will head to their final stop of the day: EdVenture Children's Museum in Columbia, SC for a networking event, featuring a keynote speaking presentation. Guests are encouraged to make reservations at the Springhill Suites Columbia Downtown, less than a mile from EdVenture.

Day 2:

Day two will begin with a plant tour at WiM Corporate member, Trane Corporation, a manufacturer energy-efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Afterwards, attendees will travel to their final tour at Nephron Pharmaceuticals, a woman-owned business and manufacturer of generic respiratory medications.

This valuable two-day event is a great opportunity to learn more about local manufacturers in Augusta, GA and Columbia, SC, and network with Chapter Leaders, WiM members, and manufacturing professionals.

We ask that you only register for the full event if you can attend all aspects of the two days. Individuals may register for just the Wednesday evening networking event as well. Appropriate PPE will be required and additional information will be communicated to those who register.
