Discuss local workforce development concerns with industry professionals!

Join WiM Arizona for a Lunch and Workforce Development Roundtable on Monday, June 17! This event gives WiM members and industry professionals the opportunity to network and discuss where local workforce needs are and how to identify the skils and training needed to build local workforce pipelines.

The roundtable will be led by two Pima Community College officials, Dr. Ian R. Roark, Vice President of Workforce Development, and Greg Wilson, Dean of Applied Technology.

Dr. Ian R. Roark
Vice President of Workforce Development
As the Vice President of Workforce Development for Pima Community College since 2015, Ian serves to increase PCC’s responsiveness to the needs of businesses and industry and align the college’s programs to the workforce and economic development priorities of the region. In this role, Ian is the single point of contact at Pima Community College for workforce and economic development initiatives and works with internal and external stakeholders to develop, revitalize and reform technical programs, serving over 20,000 students annually.

Greg Wilson
Dean of Applied Technology
Since the summer of 2014 Greg has served as Pima Community College’s Dean of Applied Technology programs which include Automotive Technology, Aviation, Building & Construction, Computer-Aided Design, Energy, Machining, Mechatronics, and Welding. He previously served as a manager with the College’s Workforce Development team for 13 years where he customized training programs for local employers GEICO, TEP, Raytheon, Casino del Sol, and others. Prior to joining the College he worked for NCCER where he partnered with industry experts to develop technical curricula.
