The Golden Manufacturing Plant produces over 10 million units per day and has been here 54 years, providing stable employment, while producing a quality product. The facility has 35 people currently working who have been there over 25 years. Don't miss this opportunity to tour with WiM CO!
Our Agenda
- 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Social and Networking time
- 4:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. | Meet Michelle Spacht, Human Resources Manager from Ball
- 4:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. | Gear up with PPE and Headsets (provided) to go on the tour.
- 5:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. | 3 Tours staggered about 5 mins apart with 3 tour guides.
- 6:00 p.m. | Tours conclude and WiM is free to leave or head to another social area in Golden, CO.

Tour Requirements to Note:
- You are required to wear a work shoe. No tennis shoes, heels, platforms will be allowed. We will give you steel toe coverings that you are required to wear to enter the production floor over your work/leather shoe. You can also wear steel toe shoes if you have them.
- While on the tour, you will be provided with safety glasses, hearing protection and high-visibility vests to help ensure your safety.
- We have to abide by Food Safety Regulations. This means: no food, drinks, candy, gum & tobacco products are not allowed on the production floor.
- Please remove all jewelry (including rings, watches, earrings, etc.) prior to the tour.
- Backpacks, purses and such cannot be taken on the tour and recording & photography are not permitted. Please leave backpacks, purses, cameras and smart phones in the car. We do not have a place to store them.
- Tours are given by members of our production staff. Arriving at (or slightly prior to) the scheduled time is greatly appreciated, as the tour guides are away from their regular duties during the tour.
Additional Instructions:
- Upon arrival, sign in on the iPad and view the plant safety video. You will remain in the lobby until your tour guide can bring you inside the plant.
- Parking: If you can find a spot in visitor parking you are welcome to park there, if not, please park across the street at the park.
