Join Louisiana Women in Manufacturing (WiM) and Geismar's Women in BASF (WIB) groups for a fun, collaborative social and networking event. A photographer will be present for anyone desiring professional headshots (first-come, first-served) and we will have plenty of games and light refreshments!

All we ask our attendees, in lieu of a registration fee, is to bring a personal care item (such as feminine care or personal hygiene) to be donated to Operation Restoration, a local organization supporting women & girls impacted by incarceration.

We anticipate plenty of interest in the headshots for this free event. For that reason, the headshot sessions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. For those planning to have a professional headshot done at the event, here are some recommendations passed down from the photographer:

• Neutral colors and subtle patterns
• No branding (so that use of the photo is more flexible)
• Light makeup recommended (even if not normally worn)
• No shiny eyeshadow

The mission of the Women in BASF (WIB) employee group is to help BASF implement programs that attract, develop, promote and retain women in response to the changing markets. The programs offered through WIB help address the challenges of a changing economic, business and social landscape.
