Join the New York Chapter of Women in Manufacturing for an in-person facility tour of The Gleason Works!

Founded in 1865, The Gleason Works is the premier center for the development of state-of-the-art manufacturing and production equipment and resources for all types of gears, including design software for gears, gear production machinery and tooling products, metrology systems, automation solutions, and plastic gears.

With a rich history in the industry, the company’s early successes can be attributed in part to a female pioneer. Kate Gleason played a significant role in shaping the trajectory of her family’s company, Gleason Corporation and blazed a path for women in engineering and manufacturing.

All attendees are invited to gather after the tour for networking and light refreshments. For those interested, after 6:00 p.m., we will then head over to happy hour at Nosh (47 Russell St., Rochester, NY 14607), located walking distance from Gleason Corporation.
