The Important Role of Women in the Aerospace Industry

WiM Ohio is partnering with the Ohio Aerospace Institute for an upcoming event, "The Important Role of Women in the Aerospace Industry" on Tueday, October 15! Network with industry professionals and learn more about the contributions and advancement of women in STEM and aerospace.   

Morning Session:

Join us for discussions on how women are shaping the future of STEM and aerospace and learn about key advancements in manufacturing. WiM Ohio's morning session will begin with a networking breakfast, followed by our first speaker of the day, Marcy Frumker, Space Advisor & Trustee at The International Women's Air & Space Museum.

Afterwards, attendees will sit in on a panel discussion featuring:

Angela Presutto - Project Engineer, Safran Aerospace Dean
Dean Christina Bloebaum - College of Aeronautics & Engineering, Kent State Univ.
Lauren Good - CFO, Sea Air Space Machining & Molding

The morning session will conclude with a presentation by Gail Dolman-Smith, President & CEO of Paragon Tec inc.

Afternoon Session: 

The afternoon session, led by OAI, will include insights into the future needs of aerospace and the impact on supply chain opportunities, as well as an informative presentation by Dr. John Sankovic, Ohio Aerospace Institute President & CEO
