Join us for the second workshop in a 4-part series called The Leader Within which is designed to enhance emotional intelligence (EQ) and communication skills in the workplace, particularly for emerging leaders or anyone looking to improve their soft skills. The topic of this workshop is Giving & Receiving Feedback While Building Trust.

Effective workplace cultures thrive on a balance of psychological safety and high-performance standards. Achieving this balance requires feedback that not only reinforces positive behaviors and addresses areas for improvement but also fosters commitment, understanding, and a sense of ownership. This workshop provides practical strategies to enhance the impact of workplace feedback while cultivating healthy, trust-based relationships characterized by mutual respect.

Topics and skill-building may include:
• Explore the ways psychological safety and accountability builds and maintains morale
• Learn the mindsets and behaviors associated with receiving feedback without being defensive
• Practice the art of giving feedback in a way that communicates clearly and keeps you connected relationally
• Learn how to have that second and third conversation, when the first one doesnʼt do the trick
• Discussion of “group elasticity" (The ability to let go, forgive, and move forward)
• Explore the positive power of providing colleagues with recognition and appreciation
