6 Things to Tweet When Virtually Attending the 2020 SUMMIT
We want to hear from you! Leverage social media to let us know how your #WiMSUMMIT experience is unfolding while networking with peers!
Because this year's SUMMIT is entirely virtual, we are encouraging attendees to make use of Women in Manufacturing's (WiM) @WomeninMFG Twitter presence! Tweeting is a great way to connect with participating industry peers, event speakers, sponsors and exhibitors, as well as our WiM National team. Before you begin, here are six tips to guide you in your SUMMIT Twitter frenzy.
Follow @WomeninMFG on Twitter
We will be posting each day of SUMMIT to keep attendees excited and informed! Stay up to date by following us on Twitter, and, while you are at it, retweet, like, comment, or tag us using the @WomeninMFG handle.
Use the official SUMMIT hashtag: #WiMSUMMIT
The official hashtag is #WiMSUMMIT. Be sure to include this when tweeting about the event. By using the hashtag, you will be able to connect with other attendees!
Inform others that you are participating
First things first! Let everyone know you are participating in the SUMMIT and how much you are looking forward to your experience. We are excited and hope you are too! Don't forget to use #WiMSUMMIT.
Interact with other SUMMIT attendees
Make sure to retweet, mention, like, and comment on other #WiMSUMMIT posts! Even though we are not in person, the SUMMIT offers many ways to engage and network with more than 600 manufacturing professionals participating across the country. Utilize Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, one-on-one appointments, and online forums on the event platform to build meaningful connections.
Ask us questions
Don't forget, we want to hear from you! If you have questions about the event, industry information, which sessions to attend, or anything else pertaining to the SUMMIT or WiM, please reach out.
Share key takeaways
The SUMMIT agenda includes 30+ sessions that will be available via live-stream and on-demand, including six virtual plant tours and 20+ virtual exhibits. We want to see what you loved the most! Share quotes, insights, pictures in your #WiMSUMMIT gear, and more.
