Stories of WiM members who share their passion for the manufacturing industry with their communities.
WiM member, Aneesa Muthana, president and owner of Pioneer Service Inc., hosted GADgET Girls at her facility on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. GADgET Girls is a summer program that introduces girls to STEM fields through field trips, education, and hands-on experiences.

Pioneer Service, in Addison, IL, is a contract manufacturer providing precision machining services. They are Certified Women-Owned, as well as AS9100D, and ISO 9001:2015 certified. They specialize in CNC Swiss machining, CNC turning, and Value-Added Finishing services for the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

By hosting the group, they hoped to inspire and educate girls in machinery. The vistors took an interactive tour and also participated in a costing and marketing presentation to expose them to different facets of a manufacturing organization.
