WiM International Women's Network to Host Event at PepsiCo's Coventry Plant

CLEVELAND, OH—October 30, 2024—The Women in Manufacturing (WiM) International Women's Network is set to host its next highly anticipated event at PepsiCo's Walker's Snack Foods plant in Coventry, United Kingdom, on November 25, 2024. Bringing together women and allies in manufacturing from across the United Kingdom and globally, the event, themed "Energizing to be a Change Agent – Being Heard, Felt and Empowered," promises to provide engaging content that inspires and empowers women in the industry.

The WiM International Women's Network is dedicated to fostering connections among WiM’s growing number of international members, providing them with valuable opportunities to connect, share information and join a global community of their peers.

"We are thrilled to be hosting our next WiM International Women's Network event with PepsiCo in the United Kingdom,” stated WiM President and Founder Allison Grealis. “We look forward to bringing women in the industry together at a facility that champions diversity and is in the heart of an area that has rich manufacturing history and growth.”

Key highlights of the event will include opening remarks by Allison Grealis, followed by a panel discussion focusing on topics such as being an authentic, strong leader, overcoming career challenges that many women face and demonstrating true allyship. Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to tour PepsiCo's Walker's Snack Foods plant, with a special focus on diversity, quality and sustainable production practices. The day will conclude with a networking dinner, providing a valuable platform for women in manufacturing to connect, share knowledge and inspire the next generation of leaders.
