TOP WOMEN IN MANUFACTURING MEET FOR EIGHTH ANNUAL SUMMIT

CLEVELAND, OH – March 16, 2018 – The premier event for women in the manufacturing sector is scheduled for October 3-5, 2018 in Indianapolis, IN. The Women in Manufacturing® Association (WiM) announced today that it will hold its eighth annual SUMMIT at ¬the city’s JW Marriott Hotel. The popular three-day conference will build on the success of previous years’ sold-out events. This year’s SUMMIT is expected to attract over 350 top women in the industry for a jam-packed schedule of high-profile keynote speakers and educational breakout sessions as well as exclusive local plant tours and networking opportunities.

Registration for the SUMMIT is now open. Attendees who register by July 1, 2018 will receive an early-bird discount and save $50 on their registration. More information about the SUMMIT, including an agenda (in formation) is available on the WiM website.

WiM is the only national trade association dedicated to year-round support for women in the manufacturing sector. WiM provides regular regional and national programming and the annual SUMMIT is the cornerstone of WiM’s outreach to women industry leaders.

The WiM SUMMIT is unique in its endeavor to address the topics of most relevance to women in the industry. WiM incorporates a wide range of voices and perspectives in shaping the SUMMIT content through the formation of an event Host Committee which helps to plan and coordinate the event. Past speakers have included executives from companies including Amazon Fulfillment, the Coca-Cola Company, Caterpillar Inc., Kohler Co., Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Valspar, INTEL, and Mary Kay Inc.
